Puerto Rico Avoiding Outages With Batteries

In Puerto Rico, 175,000 households have installed solar panels and the vast majority of those have batteries as backup. The batteries are connected to Puerto Rico’s electrical grid, providing power that reduces the frequency and duration of power outages on the island.
