Guidelines for Land Use Monitoring Issued

The German government has funded an effort by the Center for International Forestry Research and World Agroforestry (CIFOR-ICRAF) that resulted in new guidelines for transparent monitoring of land use. The developers of the guidelines anticipate that these criteria will assist countries in measuring progress toward meeting their climate goals.
